How do I prevent Accountable2You notification emails from going to the spam or junk folder?
Why aren't my email notifications arriving in my email inbox?
The culprit is most often the email provider’s built-in spam or bulk-mail filters. While these are great for blocking spam, they can occasionally be overly zealous. Sometimes, these filters "see" an incoming notification from us, mistake it for an unsolicited marketing email, and prevent it from ever reaching your inbox.

The steps vary slightly depending on the email app or service you're using. Below, we've provided steps for the most common email providers, but the steps are typically quite similar for other providers as well.

1. Keep Accountable2You emails from going to spam.
Gmail/Google G Suite
1. Add info@accountable2you.com as a contact or trusted sender/domain.
2. Mark the incoming emails as "Not junk" or "Not spam" in your email account

- Open Gmail from your web browser and sign in to your email account.

- In the folder list on the left, click More at the bottom to show all of your folders.

- In the folder list, click the Spam folder and look for any messages from Accountable2You.

- Right-click any messages from Accountable2You and select "Not spam."
Hotmail/MSN/Outlook.com
The steps below are specific to Outlook.com, but the process is nearly identical for Hotmail and MSN as well.

Yahoo Mail

2. Check your email applications
Some email applications (such as Apple Mail and Microsoft Outlook) can mark messages as spam or junk. This functionality is in addition to the spam filtering built into your email account (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail). On your devices, we recommend checking these settings as well:

3. Didn't see any emails from Accountable2You marked as junk or spam?

- If you're using an email account from a business, school, or organization, they likely have a spam firewall that quarantines or blocks email before it reaches your account. Contact your IT support team and request that they whitelist the http://accountable2you.com email domain.
