FAQ: Do I need the Chrome extension if I already have the Windows, Mac or Linux software?

If you have a Windows, Mac or Linux computer and Accountable2You is already installed on the device, you do not need to install the Chrome extension to monitor the Chrome browser. The A2U app you installed on the computer will monitor Chrome as well as your computer's other browsers.

The Chrome extension has been designed primarily for Chromebooks, however, it can be installed on regular desktop versions of Chrome. Please keep in mind that the Chrome extension will only monitor Chrome applications, and not the rest of the computer. For Windows, Mac and Linux we recommend using those versions of the software.
