FAQ: Do I need the Chrome extension if I already have the Windows, Mac or Linux software?

If you have a Windows, Mac or Linux computer with Accountable2You installed, you do not need to install the Chrome extension in order to monitor the Chrome browser. The computer version of the software will monitor Chrome.

The Chrome extension has been designed primarily for Chromebooks, however it can be installed on regular desktop versions of Chrome. Please keep in mind that the Chrome extension will only monitor Chrome applications, and not the rest of the computer. For Windows, Mac and Linux we recommend using those versions of the software.
