The latest Location Monitoring (GPS) feature offered by Accountable2You is greatly dependent on the capabilities of each particular device. Certain devices may not have the accuracy or functionality to support this new feature. If you have enabled the service on your device and you experience issues, please try one or all of the following.
1. Ensure that the Location (GPS) feature is turned "on" on your iOS device.
On your iOS device, go to Settings --> Privacy --> Location Services. Ensure that the "Location Services" option is turned to the "On" position. Then, find "AU Mobile" in the list below. Ensure that "Always" appears next to the app.
2. Has the device moved?
Accountable2You logs GPS data every 500 meters. If the device does not move at distances of 500 meters or more within a certain period of time, you will not see any new "plots" appear on the map. At the top of the Location Activity Tracking screen (see "Viewing Accountable2You GPS Reports") you should see a message indicating "Last Location recorded..." with a date and time.
3. Restart the device.
After enabling the GPS feature in the Accountable2You app, it may be necessary to restart your phone in order for the location monitoring to begin.
4. Toggle the setting on/off within Accountable2You.
Open the Accountable2You app and scroll down to select the "GPS" button. Enter your username and password and click "Verify" at the top of the screen. This will disable the GPS. Wait a few seconds, and click the "GPS" button again and enter your username and password, and then the "Verify" button. This will restart the service.
If your device still does not record any location data, then most likely your device is not compatible with the new feature.
