How is the VPN used in monitoring activity?
All VPN (“Virtual Private Network”) systems work by routing your internet traffic through a data tunnel of sorts. That VPN tunnel acts as the channel between your device and, for instance, the website you’d like to visit. At Accountable2You, the VPN captures the device activity as it passes through the tunnel and adds it to the Accountability Report.
What information does Accountable2You retain?
To put it quite simply, all of the data Accountable2You retains appears on your Accountability Report. All other data that does not appear on the Accountability Report passes through our encrypted servers without any retention. No additional activity is stored, visible or invisible.
To elaborate, this means that Accountable2You only retains the titles of websites, pages, or videos visited, the names of the applications on your device that access the internet, and the date and time the activity occurred.

- Will Accountable2You record activity that occurred before the installation of the product?
- Data security is an understandably concerning issue these days, and it’s something that we hold in the highest regard here at Accountable2You. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.
