Can I adjust the monitoring sensitivity for specific usage scenario?
Yes! While we recommend the default level of monitoring for most users, you can adjust the sensitivity of the monitoring system as needed. This is adjusted individually for each device.

How to adjust the Alert Rating Multiplier:
To adjust the overall rating sensitivity for a device, follow these steps:

- After signing in, click the Devices page.
- Click on name of the device that you wish to adjust.
- On the page for that device, you will see a drop-down box labeled "Alert Rating Multiplier". Select the rating multiplier that best fits your scenario.
Alert Rating Multiplier Options:
A balanced option recommended for most users. This option strikes a balanced yet cautious approach.
This option reduces the sensitivity of the alerting system. If you feel that you are receiving too many alerts, you may select this option to reduce the likelihood of triggering alerts for activities.
This setting may cause some inappropriate activities to not generate alerts due to the decrease insensitivity. If a specific word or phrase is creating an alert you'd like to silence, we'd recommend adding custom exceptions by following the steps found here instead.
This option increases the sensitivity of the alerting system. If you feel that the system is not sensitive enough for your needs, then this setting will help.
With this setting, recipients of the activity report can expect to see an increase in alerts, including some false-positives (e.g., non-objectionable content flagged as objectionable). If a specific word or phrase isn't creating an alert you'd like to receive, we'd recommend following the steps found here before increasing the Alert Rating Multiplier.
