Uninstall Accountable2You for Linux

Uninstall Accountable2You for Linux, version 2.0.0 or higher

Terminal: 

Note that your assigned accountability partners will be notified that the software was uninstalled by performing these steps. 

sudo snap remove accountable2you

Snap Store or Ubuntu Software or Software Manager: 

Note that your assigned accountability partners will be notified that the software was uninstalled by performing these steps. The instructions below are based on the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS experience. Your experience may vary slightly. 

  1. "Show Applications" or open the Applications folder on your device. 
  2. Right-click the Accountable2You app and select Show Details.
  3. In the Software Manager that opens, click the Installed menu tab to view the currently installed Applications. 
  4. Click the Remove button beside the Accountable2You listing to remove the software. 

Uninstall Accountable2You for Linux, version 1.99 and lower

Terminal: 

Note that your assigned accountability partners will be notified that the software was uninstalled by performing these steps. 

sudo apt remove --purge accountable2you

Desktop Interface: 

Note that your assigned accountability partners will be notified that the software was installed by performing these steps. The instructions below are based on the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS experience. Your experience may vary slightly. 

  1. Click the Accountable2You icon in the top menu bar. 
  2. Select Uninstall... from the options menu: mceclip0.png
  3. In the window that opens, enter a reason for the uninstall. The text you supply here will be sent to your accountability partners assigned to this device.

  4. Click the Proceed for Uninstall button to remove the software. 
  5. When prompted, enter the administrative password for your computer and proceed through the remaining system prompts.
