How to cancel your subscription
You're free to cancel your subscription at any point in your journey. You can do so by following our instructions in the article, Cancel your subscription or delete your account.
In addition to canceling, you might also be curious about our policy for issuing refunds. Before requesting a refund, please read this article fully.
Important details about refunds
If you contact us to request a refund within 30 days of canceling your monthly subscription, we’ll refund your most recent month of service.
- Full refund: If you cancel within the first 7 days of your annual period and request a refund within 30 days of canceling, we’ll provide a full refund for your current annual period.
- Prorated refund: If you cancel anytime after the first 7 days of your annual period and request a refund within 30 days of canceling, we’ll provide a prorated refund for the remaining months of your current annual period, not including your current month.
ℹ️ When calculating prorated refunds, the cost for the non-refundable months is based on current pricing for monthly plans.
Apple and Google in-app subscriptions
We have no control over billing, cancellation, or refund requests for subscriptions managed by Apple or Google Play. If you signed up for Accountable2You through Apple or Google Play, you’ll need to reach out to them directly to cancel your subscription or request a refund.
How to request a refund
- Cancel your subscription: We can only issue refunds after your subscription has been canceled. You can cancel at any time with the steps found here.
⚠️ Make sure to select the "cancel immediately" or "delete account" options to be eligible for a refund. (If you choose to cancel at the end of your billing period, you can continue using A2U until then but won’t be eligible for a refund.)
- Contact Customer Support to request a refund: But don’t wait! You must contact us within 30 days after canceling to qualify for a refund. Simply email us at email@example.com.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds typically take 3-10 days to process, depending on your financial institution.
How will I receive my refund?
All refunds are automatically issued back to the payment card the funds originally came from. If that card is no longer active, your financial institution will determine how to receive and process the refund.
I chose to cancel at the end of my billing period rather than canceling immediately. Can I still get a refund?
You may still be eligible for a refund. Contact our Customer Support Team and request to switch to immediate cancellation with a refund. (Prorated refunds will be calculated based on the date your subscription is canceled immediately.)
Are credit card disputes the same as refunds?
No — disputed charges are no longer subject to the refund policy above. Instead, the outcome of these transactions will be determined by your financial institution.
