Restore a Previous Group Member
This guide is for administrators on group plans.
If you’ve deleted a group member and would like to reinvite them, you’ve come to the right place! Keep reading for a solution to reinvite the group member successfully.

What happens when you delete a group member
- The user is removed from your group, but the user’s account isn’t deleted.
- The user’s account closes, and they receive an email letting them know that they can enroll in their own Accountable2You account.
- Because their account still exists (apart from the group), you see the message “Email is already in use” when you try to reinvite the user.
Method 1: Create a new profile for the group member
If you prefer to keep the group member’s devices, partners, and other account settings, see Method 2: Contact Customer Support.

Instruct the user to log in and delete their account: Permanently delete your A2U account
- If the user is unable to access their account, skip to Method 2.

- Reinvite the user to the group: Invite Members to your Group Plan

This will give the group member a brand new Accountable2You user profile. To ensure continued monitoring and accountability, either you or the group member with the new profile will need to take the steps below:
- Uninstall and reinstall Accountable2You on the group member’s devices.
- Invite accountability partners to receive reports for the group member.
Method 2: Contact Customer Support
Contact our Customer Support team so we can reconnect the group member on your behalf.
Send an email to support@accountable2you.com directly from the email address in your group admin profile. Provide the name and email address of the user you’d like to reinvite to the group.
