Why are Instant Text Alerts being retired?

Instant Text Message Alerts are being replaced by push notifications delivered through the Accountable2You Reports app. (Note: Email Alerts will continue working.)
Text message alerts were limited in the amount of information they could include. To view details about what triggered an alert, users had to open a browser and log in to their account.
The Reports app allows:
  • Detailed alert information within the notification
  • Immediate access to the related activity report
  • Faster, more direct alert delivery

What do I need to do?

To continue receiving Instant Alerts, just follow these steps:

  1. Install the Reports app on your iOS or Android device.
  2. Log in using your Accountable2You username and password.
  3. Allow notifications when prompted.

Once installed, you'll automatically receive alerts through the app. ✅

Will I continue receiving Email Alerts?

Yes! Email Alerts will be unaffected by this change.

Will this new app cost more?

Nope! The Reports app is included with all existing Accountable2You accounts at no additional cost. ✅

Can I customize my alert settings?

Yes! Instant Alerts will be enabled by default for all monitored devices to make sure you don't miss anything. After that, you can customize your preferences from the Alert Settings page in your account.

What happens to my phone number?

When this change takes effect, we’ll remove all phone numbers used for Instant Alerts and stop sending any text messages.
