Understanding the rating adjustments
You can choose between 4 adjustments for any Trigger Word. The list below defines what effect each adjustment will have on the Trigger Word:
- Highly Questionable: Activity records containing the Trigger Word will be flagged as a red alert. Depending on their settings, accountability partners will receive an Instant Text Alert and an Email Alert.
- Questionable: Activity records containing the Trigger Word will be flagged as a yellow alert. Depending on their settings, accountability partners will receive an Email Alert.
- Reduced: Activity records containing the Trigger Word will have a lower chance of triggering an alert.
- Ignored: Activity records containing the Trigger Word will not trigger an alert.
Best practices
Don’t add common bad words or objectionable phrases. Accountable2You maintains a comprehensive database of many routine bad words, websites, phrases, and more.
Do add words or phrases as either Questionable or Highly Questionable if you see questionable activity in the Detailed Report that is not producing an alert.
Do add a word or phrase as either Reduced or Ignored if a specific activity is creating repeated unnecessary alerts.
Before adding a Reduced or Ignored word, consider future scenarios where you might want the word or phrase to trigger an alert.
