View the Detailed Activity Report

The Detailed Activity Report provides a comprehensive view of all the activity records for a specific device. This report has a number of filtering options to help you review activity for one or more devices at a time (by alert level, date range, app name, and specific keywords).

You'll find this report next to each device on the Reports Dashboard. Just find the device and select All Activity.

Filtering options

At the top of the Detailed Activity Report, there are a number of filtering options to narrow or expand the activity records (depending on the activity you want to review).

Date Range

Set the date range for the activity you want to review.

  • Example: I know David was home alone all day Saturday, so I'll narrow the dates to show just activity from that day.

(The Date field will be set to 24 hours, 7 days, or 14 days by default based on the time period you selected back a page on the Reports Dashboard.)

User

Use this filter to view activity for all devices belonging to one or more users. Removing any specific devices from the Devices field will allow you to see activity for all devices for the selected users. When the report is filtered to show activity for multiple users or devices, the activity records will appear on the report in chronological order.

  • Example: I want to see activity for all my daughter's devices at once, so I'll select her name in the Users filter.

Tip: When using the Devices or Users filter settings, be sure to remove any overlapping or competing options.

For example, if you want to see all devices for a specific user, remove any selections in the Devices filter. Likewise, if you want to see specific devices belonging to multiple users, be sure to remove any selections in the Users filter.

(The Users field will be set by default based on the device you selected back a page on the Reports Dashboard.)

Device

Use this filter to view activity for one or more devices. When the report is filtered to show activity for multiple users or devices, the activity records will appear on the report in chronological order.

  • Example: I want to see activity for all my kids' cell phones at once, so I'll add each of those specific devices in the Devices filter.

(The Device field will be set by default based on the device you selected back a page on the Reports Dashboard.)

Alert Level

Use the Alert Level filter to show all activity records, just questionable activity, just highly questionable activity, or all alerts

Advanced filtering options

You can access even more options for filtering by selecting Advanced at the top of the Detailed Activity Report.

App

This filter option shows a dropdown list of all the apps that have had activity during your selected timeframe. Select a specific app from the list to review activity from that app only.

Keyword search

Use the Keyword filter to show all activity records within your selected timeframe that contain a specific word or phrase.

Tip: You can also use the "Find on Page" setting (Ctrl+F on Windows or CMD+F on Mac) in most browsers to search for keywords on the Detailed Report.

How far back do the reports go?

The Detailed Activity Report will show records up to the last 15 days. After 15 days, the data is removed from Accountable2You servers and is no longer accessible (more info on this here). If you wish to keep the data for longer, you can select the Export option at the top of the report page and save the file to your computer.

Scheduled Exports

If you'd like more info about how to regularly receive exports of any device records, we've got you covered! Check out our Scheduled Exports article for all the details on your options here!
