Why is Accountable2You Using So Much Data On My iPhone or iPad?

Short answer: It’s actually using less than it looks like. This is because your other apps' data is being counted under Accountable2You.

To monitor an iPhone or iPad, Accountable2You sends most of your internet data through our app. We do this because of Apple's limits on what apps can see.

Because of this, your iPhone counts data from other apps as if it were from Accountable2You. In Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data), our app may look like it uses a lot of data, and your other apps may look like they use less than usual; however, your total data use doesn't change.
