Why is Accountable2You using so much data on my iPhone or iPad?

In short, it’s not actually using that much data. Since our monitoring app inspects most of the data, Apple’s settings will show the usage at the last place it was seen—our app! 💡

On iPhones, it's pretty normal for most cellular data usage to appear as if it's been used by Accountable2You. This is due to how our iOS device monitoring works. Because of Apple's limitations on iPhones and iPads, Accountable2You routes most of the internet traffic from other apps on your device through our app.

When this happens, the mobile data usage for the other apps on your device will appear in the report as if it were coming from our app. This means that the data usage for our app will look unusually high, and the other apps may appear lower than usual, as shown in the screenshot below.
