Partners - Set Up a Free Account

Serving as an accountability partner is an incredibly important role! To help streamline the job of reviewing activity records and managing alert settings, we designed a special free account with accountability partners in mind.

The steps in this article will help you set up your free partner account and take advantage of all the new features and increased security that come along with it!

Existing partners (added before August 1, 2023)

If you’ve been an accountability partner since before August 1, 2023, there are a few changes to keep in mind:

Partners are now required to create a username and password for a free partner account to securely view reports online.
You're still a partner even if you haven't claimed your free partner account yet. Your report and alert settings should be the same as they were before.
Parents on a Family plan are now automatic partners for all family members' devices. Instead of following these steps, you can simply log in to your parent profile on the account to manage these settings on the Alert Settings page.

Step 1. Claim your free partner account

Depending on whether you're a new or existing partner, follow either 'A' or 'B'.

A. New partners

Go to your email inbox and open the partner invitation email. Select the green Accept button, and proceed to Step 2.

B. Existing partners (created before August 2023)

Go to your email inbox and open one of your recent daily or weekly Email Summary Reports. Select the blue View Reports Dashboard button.

Step 2. Create a new username and password

For both new and existing partners, create a new username and password for your free partner account.

Select the green Create Partner Account button to continue.

Step 3. Accept the Accountable2You Terms of Use

Take a moment to review and accept the Accountable2You Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Subscription Agreement. Check the box and select the blue I Agree button to proceed.

Step 4. Verify phone number (if applicable)

If you opted-in to SMS text alerts, enter your phone number, select Send Verification Code, and provide the verification code. (You can also choose Skip for now to verify it later.)

When you see a “Success!” message appear, your free account is now ready to go!

Step 5. Adjust your alert settings

To review your Alert Settings, select the blue Review Preferences button. (Here, you can customize the type and frequency of the reports and alerts you receive.)

Otherwise, select the I’m Done button to go to your new Reports page!
