Switch from Apple payments
In this article:
After downloading the Accountable2You app on an iPhone, if you select the Get Started button rather than Add Device, as shown below, you’ll be prompted to create a new subscription directly through Apple’s App Store, even if you already signed up through the Accountable2You website online.
The App Store only offers one of Accountable2You’s plan types – the Personal plan – and at a higher subscription cost than what is offered through the Accountable2You website. You can see all our plans and pricing options here.
Switching from Apple payments usually saves about $4 per month.
How to check your subscription
There are two ways to check whether you signed up through the Accountable2You website or through the App Store:
Method 1: Check your account through the Accountable2You website
- Log in to your Accountable2You account here.
- Select your name or profile photo and choose Account Settings from the drop-down menu.

Method 2: Check your Apple subscriptions on your iOS device
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions. If you see Accountable2You listed here, you signed up through the App Store.
