Switch from Apple payments

After downloading the Accountable2You app on an iPhone, if you select the Get Started button rather than Add Device, as shown below, you’ll be prompted to create a new subscription directly through Apple’s App Store, even if you already signed up through the Accountable2You website online.

The App Store only offers one of Accountable2You’s plan types – the Personal plan – and at a higher subscription cost than what is offered through the Accountable2You website. You can see all our plans and pricing options here.

Switching from Apple payments usually saves about $4 per month.

How to check your subscription

There are two ways to check whether you signed up through the Accountable2You website or through the App Store:

Method 1: Check your account through the Accountable2You website

  1. Log in to your Accountable2You account here.
  2. Select your name or profile photo and choose Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the Billing page. If you have an Apple subscription, you will see “Your Subscription: Apple In-App.”

Method 2: Check your Apple subscriptions on your iOS device

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions. If you see Accountable2You listed here, you signed up through the App Store.
